| Ensuring Quality
Quality is the underline principle
that drives us at idiom. We see quality from two dimensions.
First, Relevance of Translation to ensure that the translated
/ localized content communicates the essence of the message
even if it is structurally different from the original piece.
Second and more important is to ensure that there is no
grammatical, punctuation related or spelling errors in the
translated / localized content. As it is these small details
that reflect the quality of translation and impact business.
At Idiom we take the following steps to ensure that we achieve
high standards of quality:
- A style guide is prepared and used, so that a standards
translation / localization format / tone is used across
all translation projects related to your company / product.
- All translated content is checked by an external auditor
to check for spelling errors, correct use of grammar, missing
or wrongly translated words.
- At every stage your in-country / local staff is involved
to ensure that the translated content meets the expectation
of your customers and market.
- A terminology database is built where necessary and maintained
by us to ensure that industry or company terminology is
correctly and consistently used at all times.
